Being a family-owned company, Dawn Bread understands the importance of nutrition and taste. We are committed to providing the highest quality bread products in Pakistan. Dawn Bread commissioned its first plant in October, 1981 in Karachi. Following that, the journey of becoming the best slice manufacturer in the country started. Gradually and steadily, Dawn Bread became the front-runner for healthy wheat-based goods.

OUR STORY

Dawn Bread emerged as a small venture in 1981 to deliver the finest taste and best bread products to the people of Karachi.

Karachi – 1981

Set out on the road to creating awareness of and demand for bread products with its first plant commissioned in Karachi in October 1981.

Islamabad – 1985

It wasn’t long before the name became synonymous with delicious nutrition, and a second plant was commissioned in Islamabad in 1985.

Hyderabad – 1987

This was a testament to the rapid speed at which Dawn bread was growing.

Lahore – 1987

A plant was also commissioned in Lahore and within the same year, in Faisalabad. This was a testament to the rapid speed at which Dawn bread was growing.

Multan – 1989

As well due to increasing demand. Slowly but surely, Dawn spread from the southern tip of Pakistan to the north.

Faisalabad – 1992

Dawn simply went from strength to strength as it slowly began to capture 35% of the consolidated market share of all bread products in Pakistan within a decade of its inception.

The first Dawn plant was set up and commissioned in Karachi in October 1981 with the purpose of creating awareness and demand for a variety of bread products. It was not long before the name became synonymous with ‘Vitamin Enriched Bread’ and a second plant was commissioned in Islamabad in 1985. Since then, Dawn has simply accomplished feat after feat; It has managed to capture 35% of the consolidated market share of all bread products in Pakistan within a decade of inception. Today, consumers can access Dawn’s superior products from the southern tip of Pakistan to Peshawar in the north.
